I Love Ewe...

I'd first heard about the Ewe Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza through other wedding suppliers on Instagram. As soon as I saw what it involved...I knew I wanted a piece of the action. As mundane as my life can be sometimes..I still like to believe I can live in a world of sequins and rainbows, so I knew this would be the place for me. Not confident enough to enquire about a stand, I purchased 2 tickets like normal customers. Initially I was going it alone, but purchased 2 tickets just in case. I was gonna travel from Surrey for the weekend and have a 'stepping out of my comfort zone' photography weekend...but after a discussion with Mr Cuff (my ever so willing second shooter, come model/boyf

The Custard Factory

Now let me set this straight before I even begin... No, I didn't go to a Factory that makes Custard... Well not quite anyway... I went to The Custard Factory, Digbeth in Birmingham, which once was the old Birds Custard Factory... Still confused? Carry on reading to explore.. To passers by, it may just look like a lot of old random coloured buildings, and industrial units, nestled away under the arches of Birmingham city railway line...but to me, it was the urban, funky, eye opening location I had been dreaming about for months. On a first glance, it may seem damp and dark in places, but once you open your eyes and start discovering what it has to offer..it changes. I learnt about the treasu

Pumpkins!

On the last Sunday of October, on a stunningly beautiful Autumn morning, I took myself and my camera down to Rogate, near Petersfield, Hampshire, to visit Rogate Pumpkin Patch. I actually had a reason for being there, and it wasn't to buy a pumpkin. It was to visit the very lovely Yvonne and Gary Harris. They own a Catering unit called Cara Gorda Cantina, and it had been on site at the pumpkin patch for a week. I first learnt of Yvonne and Gary through a mutual friend, who hired a converted horse box from them for their wedding night. Gee's the horse box is a lovely box, with all the home comforts you will need for a rural stay. However, I will tell you all about Gee's another time, as to

This Surrey Mummy

Through my Photography I love nothing more than having the chance to meet other people within the blogging world. Blogging is something I am very quickly falling in love with. I can't claim to be any good at it, but I enjoy just expressing how I feel, and saying it as it is. Via Instagram, I became in contact with a Surrey Mum called Nathalie who runs a blog called This Surrey Mummy. Nathalie lives in Cobham in Surrey with her husband, 2 sons and dog Buddy. This Surrey Mummy is a lifestyle blog, documenting Nathalie's journey as a Mum, and the adventures it creates. Nathalie contacted me through Instagram and asked if we could work together. She asked if I could go along and photograph he

Theatre Style

Amongst the craziness that is the month of August, came the incredible Wedding of Richard & Dan. The guys had first contacted me back in January 2017, when I took myself down to their venue in Portsmouth I already knew the venue was a theatre, but that was all I knew. On arrival, I was transported into a world of adventure, intrigue, costumes, and props. The theatre was amazing! It was intimate and full of character. And, as I then found out....owned by Richard!! This was gonna be epic. The Big Day Fast Forward 7 months, and the Wedding Day had arrived, 26th August 2017. The Groundlings Theatre, Portsmouth was bathed in glorious August sunshine, and it was HOT!!! The courtyard was laid o
